Formation Of The Upasna kendra

|| Hari Om ||

Upasna Kendra,
                                Firstly let us know why there was a need to start upasna centres,
In our day-to-day life’s we are faced with many problems or difficulties and for a solution from them we seek protection under God’s shelter. When we do not find Him providing the solution to our issues, we tend to run helter-skelter to sources we think will provide us with instanht relief were we are only m
The lack of Bhakti and Seva leads to mental stress which is the main reason we are delayed in finding solution to our problems. The path to find peace and relief from worldly issues is found at the Upasana Centres where we not only get strength to face our problems but we are gently led towards GOD Upasna Centres is the place where we understand that only pure Bhakti will lead us toultimate peace in life.
The first Collective Upasana was performed on 9th May 1997 on the auspicious day of Akshay Tritiya. Today, Upasana Centres are spread across the globe, where upasna is conducted generally on all the Saturdays of all months.
The Upasana Centres gently teach bhakti by following the practice of collective praying. All gather together at the various centres and perform the collective upasana based on the Sadguru’s principles.
The benefits of collective upasana are as under:isled or cheated. We need to understand that just as in a bank if we have enough deposits, we can withdraw quickly or get a loan easily, and similarly if there is not enough deposit of Bhakti in our bank of Life, then our issues take longer to get resolved.
  1. One receives more positive vibes and the impact is greater when one prays in a group rather than alone
  2. We can concentrate and focus much better when praying with others as one tends to get distracted or lose attention when praying by oneself
  3. When I pray collectively, I am praying for myself as well as for others and thus the prayers reach the five elements of nature and the Lord much faster
  4. The practice of collective upasana builds unity in society and also strengthens it spiritually. Collective praying at the Upasana Centres thus builds and strengthens both the individual as well as the nation.
And so based on the above principles of Param Pujay Aniruddha Bapu  we at Borivali East started our upasna centre on 10th FEBRUARY 2001 at the residence of SAU VANMALA PITALE at Shiv Sai Co – operating housing society, Shiv Vallabh road,Ashok Van, Borivali East.

Initially there was a presence of 60 to 70 bhakta’s on every Saturday, slowly Param Pujay Bapu’s preaching’s and the importance of praying collectively spread around and the presence of bhaktas started to increase where we felt a need for a bigger place.

August 2001 was the So some of the bhaktas at the upasna centre came together and started looking for a bigger place finaly with collective efforts {Sadguru’s teachings} of all we found a suitable place.

 A proposal with regards to the new place was forwarded to our sanstha, and with the approval of Pujay Sameersinh Vaidya – Dattopadhya we started to conduct upasna at the new place.
16th day when we started to conduct upasna at the new placeADD: CHOGLE HIGH SCHOOL, NEAR SHRI KIRSHNA NAGAR, BORIVALI EAST, MUMBAI 400066, MAHARASHTRA.

    On that very day we had Sadanandsinh Vartak sharing his anubhav about Param Pujay Bapu and information about our sanstha, the presence of bhakta’s was 400 to 500, then on every Sunday volunteers from our centre would go to different areas and preach about our beloved Bapu and his pravachan’s, the count of bhakta’s by year end 2003 increased to 1200.

Today we stand in 2013, its been 13years we our following the practice of upasna on every Saturday
